"This EP is collection of tracks I recorded while searching for my own style and sound that would emerge in the next album, Afterlight. I wanted to add some more conventional funk-jazz compositions (Highway Baby and Toaster, Fire, Flyer) in order to show I can play and compose and not only making Free and improvised noises."

Born in 1973, Hugues Fardao is a musician and composer, multi-instrumentalist from Caen (France), playing Alto clarinet in a Free Jazz context. Influences : Theo Jörgesmann, Kaoru Abe, Albert Ayler, Giuseppi Logan, the Giuffre/Bley/Swallow trio.
